We’ve always admired Rugged Seas, another local Maine business, for their “from bib to bag,” philosophy. Producing many amazing products (backpacks, totes, apparel, etc.), Rugged Seas stands out for its mission to shine a light on what the people who fish our waters do every day…Not only is it a dangerous career, there are many other struggles fishermen face within our industry. We've collaborated to take something that represents every fishery—fisherman’s hauling pants (bibs)—and turn them into something recognizable for everyone to utilize and enjoy.

Turns out, Rugged Seas was also a fan of Wildwood Oyster Co.! Together, we made this stunning clutch you love with an unmistakable pop of orange from a recycled orange bib worn by hardworking fishermen.

This clutch brings together our rugged Kodiak leather, suede, our colorful dock line wristlet with a removable brass shackle, and the oversized brass zipper. Care

Wildwood Oyster Co. leather clutches are made with self-sustaining Kodiak leather, making them durable for all your adventures. You won’t have to treat this clutch right away since they already have a lightly oiled finish. For scuffs along the way, just quickly buff them out. You can also touch up the leather in a few years (or as needed) with a leather oil like neatsfoot oil. And, you can also add a suede protector if you want.
